The GRI reporting tool is designed to provide guidance for an organisation of any size to produce a sustainability report. Based on the Global Reporting Initiative Guidelines, it provides a set of reporting principles that organisations should follow. The guidelines also provide a set of core indicators for economic, environmental and social performance that organisations should include in their report, and a list of additional indicators that organisations should include where relevant. Both the principles and the indicators have been developed over the past five years, involving input from a wide range of stakeholders around the world. This tool is aimed at managers and practitioners with responsibilities for sustainability and communication within organisations. |
