The TUC is Britain's largest voluntary organisation and has around 78 member unions representing 6.8 million working people from all walks of life. The TUC campaigns for fairness at work and also help unemployed workers search for quality jobs. We negotiate in Europe, and at home build links with political parties business and the community. Recently the TUC has campaigned successfully for equal rights for part time workers, greater regulation of pensions, the introduction and uprating of the minium wage and union recognition as part of the new Employment Relations Act.
